About Me
Having resided in Trempealeau County for more than twenty years, my journey into caregiving began when I welcomed my father-in-law, who battled dementia, into my home. This experience taught me invaluable lessons about the importance of personalized care and its profound impact on an individual's well-being.
Through a career spanning nursing homes and home health care, I've had firsthand experience witnessing the transformative power of compassion and support. Whether it's assisting with daily tasks or providing companionship, every interaction presents an opportunity to make a meaningful difference.
At Hope Floats, my commitment is to offer personalized, compassionate care to those in need. I see our clients not just as recipients of care, but as cherished members of our extended family, deserving of the highest quality of support. It's an honor to walk alongside them, providing hope and assistance every step of the way.

Hello, Future Clients of Jane Pope,
I had been given Jane Pope's name as a Home Healthcare Giver. My husband's health was failing and there were times I needed to leave and needed someone to stay with him, as he needed almost around-the-clock supervision. I invited Jane to my house to meet with her and to meet my husband. He was not always an easy person to get along with, but he liked Jane right from the start. Jane was very good with having conversations with him and providing for all of his health care needs. It was difficult for me to just hand over all the responsibilities of my husband's health care needs, but she handled all the situations very well; food preparation, giving him his medications, going to the bathroom, getting him to bed and she had even helped him get up off the floor after he had fallen. I felt very secure and comfortable with Jane being here at my home when I needed to run errands and go to some of my grandchildren's sporting events. I would highly recommend Jane Pope as a Home Healthcare Giver.
Sincerely,
Pat Halama

"My family had the privilege of working with Hope Floats Home Care when dealing with the declining health of our parents. The staff went above and beyond the expected and required care for our parents. It was so nice to have employed a staff that truly cared for mom and dad as more than just a source of income. The staff is prompt, professional, kind, caring and loving. I highly recommend hiring Hope Floats Home Care for your in-home health care staffing needs."

Dear Jane Pope’s Future Clients:
My mom and I were first introduced to Jane through a mutual friend that worked at ADRC, and that day was a game-changer for us. We were in a very challenging home hospice situation with my dad. And while St. Croix Home Hospice and everyone at ADRC were absolutely amazing, we still had a void in our lives. We needed someone to stay with my dad when we were not able to be at home with him. Jane came and met with us first, and then met my dad. Our meeting went extremely well, and we were hopeful her first stay with my dad would go well, as he can sometimes be difficult, especially around new people. But by the end of the few hours, they spent together, my dad was at ease with Jane being there and actually was very talkative! Jane helped us out over the next few weeks, even staying with him the night before he passed away. She was kind and patient and extremely helpful. We would not have been able to get out of the house, had it not been for Jane. And while my dad didn’t want to be a burden, or sometimes didn’t think he needed someone to stay with him, we were so fortunate Jane was there. For a couple of times during her stay with him, he had fallen and was unable to get up by himself. Even the day my dad passed, Jane checked in periodically to see if we needed her for anything or if we needed her to stop by. And Jane came to my dad’s visitation, we were truly so grateful to see her. If you are lucky enough to get Jane on your schedule, you will feel nothing but truly thankful and truly relieved to have someone so caring, taking care of your loved one. God Bless Jane for all she did not only for my dad, but for our entire family. 😊
